TRAINING FOR PUBLIC RELATIONS PRACTITIONERS
Understanding other people’s emotions is a key skill in the workplace. It can enable us to build and improve relationships with customers and various stakeholders, resolve conflicts and build more cohesive teams.
In this workshop, we will explore what it really means to show empathy. We
will look at how a few simple actions can help you to create and build stronger connections, to build a positive work culture and to make a difference to the emotional well-being of the colleagues and stakeholders.
At the end of this half-day workshop, you will be able to:
- Apply the techniques required during the 3 stages (preparation, during and after) of a networking event;
- Enhance your Personal Branding and be more confident to work the room, and network with ease;
- Improve your LinkedIn profile to achieve your desired personal brand; and
- Follow up effectively after every networking event to maintain the relationship with your contacts.

One day Course Outline
This workshop will be highly interactive and enriching. The first part of the
workshop will focus on group activities in “Dialogue in the Dark” (DID), a
unique and effective platform to raise awareness and facilitate inclusion of all segments in the community, understanding citizens and customers to develop empathy. Facilitators from DID lead the groups through challenging activities.
The second part of the workshop will explore the principles and attributes of empathy and will help participants understand how to apply the through role plays.
