In the fast-paced internet and social media spaces you are expected to
conduct yourself and communicate your personal brand in the corporate and social worlds effectively. A picture says a lot, a video says more. Research has effectively proven this and we give you the skills to produce your own one-minute video selling who you are and what you do.

The skills you will learn allow you to apply them in different spheres from
simple posting of what you are up to using social media, to giving a more
serious presentation of something you may be working on. Essentially, it
teaches you the aspects of the video medium and how to exploit these to help present your personal brand. You will also learn presentation skills and build the confidence to present directly to camera.

Course Objectives

  • Introduce participants to video as a means to communicate on social
  • media;
  • Give participants tips on how to write a self-introduction outline;
  • Teach presentation skills specifically for presenting to camera;
  • Teach the basics of shot sizes and their intended effect; and
  • Boost participants’ confidence when presenting on camera.

It will be an interactive workshop with lecture and hands-on components
where you will be both audience and presenter. In the comfort of a home
gallery in Serangoon North, you will work in small groups to develop your
research and outline on what you would present. You will be guided and will receive direct feedback on your presentation and practice.

At the end of the workshop, you would have a one-minute video of yourself, which you can fine- tune at home if you wish.

The workshop includes lunch by Relish.Sg. Participants can continue
reviewing and discussing the techniques over a sumptuous lunch.
